Resilience is rarely built in isolation. Whether navigating a life-altering personal health crisis, like surviving tuberculosis, or trying to build a career in a rapidly changing world, our ability to bounce back depends heavily on the support systems around us.
In the session, Geneva will be sharing her personal journey of surviving tuberculosis at the start of her career and how that experience shaped her understanding of resilience. She will talk about what it actually takes to navigate a career through significant personal adversity, and why having a strong community is so vital. It is about the power of having a network where people can support each other, share real experiences, and bounce ideas off one another when things get tough.
Ultimately, building your personal resilience through a strong network is what creates a far stronger, more adaptable professional.
